Hendrix is actually a friend’s cat, which is a tuxedo cat, and literally has a red bow tie. I decided to go a little retro with the blue leisure suit and white platform shoes. I wanted old meets new, trying to keep it fresh within a genre that can get tired. I was a bit inspired by Lupin the 3rd and Venture Brothers for the character design, but I think I ended up hitting full blown childhood here with early 1990’s Saturday Morning Cartoons.
